REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Photocopies of NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificates, photocopies of all qualifying credentials, including O’level must be attached to the completed application forms. Candidates should arrange for their transcripts to be sent directly to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies. Non-receipt of transcripts in time is at the detriment of the applicant.

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

  1. Full-Time Diploma: Minimum of two semesters and a maximum of four semesters.
  2. Part-Time Diploma: Minimum of three semester and a maximum of eight semesters.

Masters Degree Programmes

  1. Full-Time: A minimum of three semesters and a maximum of six semesters.
  2. Part-Time: A minimum of four semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.

M.Phil/Ph.D Programmes

  1. Full-Time: A minimum of six semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.
  2. Part-Time: A Minimum of eight semesters and a maximum of ten semesters

Ph.D Programme

  1. Full-Time: A Minimum of six semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.
  2. Part-Time: A minimum of eight semesters and a maximum of ten semesters.

How To Apply for IUO Postgraduate Admission Form

Kindly follow the steps below in applying for the form.

Step 1: Visit www.iuokada.edu.ng Click on Online Applications

Step 2: Select Postgraduate Programmes 2022/2023

Step 3: Download and Read the Instructions and Guidelines before proceeding

Step 4: Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.

Step 5: Enter your First name; Middle name; and Surname along with your Email Adress and Phone Number.
Immediately, your ID and Password will be sent to your email. Click on the Link within your email to continue

Step 6: Back On iuokada.waeup.org click on ‘Login’ (top right of the front page).

Step 7: Enter your username and the password to login.

Step 9: To start the application process, please click on ‘Application record’ and provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.

NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the Igbinedion University, Okada, .

To pay for the Application form

You can either pay via the bank or online. Use any of the methods below most convenient for you.

2) To Pay Online:

Follow the steps to pay online and continue with your application.

  • Click on “Add online payment” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay with…” Interswitch or Etransact on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee of N 15,0000.00;(excluding charges) with a valid ATM-Enabled Card from any Commercial Bank in Nigeria.

Step 11: Request that your transcript be sent to Igbinedion University.
