Lil Kesh rose to popularity from the release of Shoki remix ft Davido and YBNL crew, many believed Davido and Olamide gave the song the popularity and weight as it took a while for his fans to know that the song actually belongs to Lil Kesh. Orezi at that time did not find this funny as he claimed he was the pioneer of SHOKI and not Lil Kesh as people were made to believe but this was too late as his words went with the wind.
In Headies 2014, Lil Kesh was nominated as the rookie of the year but failed to cling to the award but the YBNL Boss (Olamide) came on stage to declare support for his artiste and publicly declared Lil Kesh as the rookie of the year at every given opportunity.
To prove critics wrong, he released a few tracks including Lyrically. With the growing influence of Olamide in the industry, Lil Kesh has 2016 locked down for him and after the popular beef at the Headies 2015 between Don Jazzy and Olamide fans are set for a showdown on whose crew got the most talent and who will rule and be the King of streets for the year 2016.
Though still new to the industry, he has been able to stamp his feet to the ground and smiling to the bank for every show conquered.
