Requirements for Applying for RUN Postgraduate Admission Form

In addition to the various Departmental requirements, which are available on the University’s website, prospective candidates must satisfy the general regulations governing postgraduate admissions at the Redeemer’s University:

  1. Must participate in, and pass the validity interview of the College of Postgraduate Studies, Redeemer’s
  2. Must have completed the mandatory one (1) year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, or possess a Certificate of Exemption in
  3. Must submit three (3) Referees’ reports, attesting to the candidates’ intellectual capacity and aptitude for independent research and problem-solving
  4. Must submit academic transcripts, as appropriate.


Photocopies of NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificates, photocopies of all qualifying credentials, including O’level must be attached to the completed application forms. Candidates should arrange for their transcripts to be sent directly to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies. Non-receipt of transcripts in time is at the detriment of the applicant.


Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

  1. Full-Time Diploma: Minimum of two semesters and a maximum of four semesters.
  2. Part-Time Diploma: Minimum of three semester and a maximum of eight semesters.

Masters Degree Programmes

  1. Full-Time: A minimum of three semesters and a maximum of six semesters.
  2. Part-Time: A minimum of four semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.

M.Phil/Ph.D Programmes

  1. Full-Time: A minimum of six semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.
  2. Part-Time: A Minimum of eight semesters and a maximum of ten semesters

Ph.D Programme

  1. Full-Time: A Minimum of six semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.
  2. Part-Time: A minimum of eight semesters and a maximum of ten semesters.

How To Apply for RUN Postgraduate Admission Form

All admitted candidates should ensure that they adhere to the following pre-resumption instructions:

Step 1 – Visit Postgraduate website:

Step 2 – Click on Admissions Menu and read the instructions on the page before creating an application profile.

Step 3 – Click on “Create Application” to create your profile; once done, a payment link will be sent to the email you registered with.

Step 4 – Follow the instructions in the mail to pay online.

Step 5 – Application fee is ten thousand naira N10,000 only (excluding transaction charges.)

Step 6 – Once payment is made, print your receipt and use the link provided on the payment page to redirect back to the admission portal.

Step 7 – An activation link will be sent to your email address for profile activation. Click on the link, then login to complete your application.

Step 8 – Your application status must be 100% completed to be considered for processing by the  Admissions panel.
