The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina has announced the sale of her IJMB admission form for 2025/2026 academic session and application are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Programme for the 2025/2026 session. The IJMB Certificate enables candidates to gain Direct Entry Admission into 200 level of the degrees offered in UMYU, Katsina and other Universities in Nigeria. The IJMB Certificate is equivalent to the Advance Level GCE or the Old Higher School Certificate (HSC) or IJMB.
Successful candidates of the IJMB programme will be considered for Direct Entry Admission into 200 Level in any course of their choice in AAU or any University in Nigeria or Abroad.
IJMBE is a national examination body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and certified by Nigerian University Commission (NUC) as Advanced Level (A/L) examination for seeking admission into higher institutions.
Admitted candidates into IJMBE programme are expected to select THREE (3) subject combinations related to their course of study in the University.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates applying for IJMBE Programme MUST possess at least five (5) ‘O’ level Credits in three (3) Basic Science, Arts and Social Science Subjects, plus English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two (2) Sittings. For candidates from educationally less developed states (ELDS) in Nigeria, deficiency is allowed for English. The deficiency, however, must be remedied before the end of the IJMBE Programme. The Duration of the Programme is one year (See the appendix below)

STEP 2: Online payment of the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3, 000) only and obtain payment slip. This covers cost of the form and online screening.
