The administration of The Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti has officially announced the forthcoming Matriculation Ceremony for new students in the 2025/2026 academic session. This ceremony is set to be held on the university campus as detailed below:

- Award of Sub-Degree and First Degree
- Presentation of Prizes
- Venue:Main Auditorium, University Campus
Thursday, 4th April 2024
- Event:Award of Postgraduate Diploma, Master’s Degree, Doctorate Degree, and Conferment of Honorary Degrees.
Precaution for Matriculants
- The ceremony is open to students who graduated during the 2024/2025 academic session across all programmes. It’s crucial to confirm your name on the University Website: eksu.edu.ng.
- Academic Robes: Collection starts from Monday, 18th March 2024. Ensure to pay the prescribed charges (excluding bank commission) to collect your robe from Faculty Officers/Secretaries of Colleges/Programmes.
Method of Payment for Academic Robes
- Online Payment: Visit EKSU Portal, click on Certificate/Transcript, create a profile, and follow the steps to apply for Certificate based on your degree and graduating year. Use your ATM card for payment and note the transaction as proof.

Collection of Certificates
Graduands who have completed their clearance are eligible to collect their certificates immediately after the convocation. Ensure payment of the prescribed fees on or before 25th March 2024 to avoid additional charges.
Requirements for Collection:
- Original Statement of Result or Notification of Result
- Student’s Identity Card or a Letter of Identification from the Department
- Two Recent Passport Photographs
- Evidence of Payment of Prescribed Fees
- Evidence of Clearance from the University.
