The revised Federal Poly Offa academic calendar is designed to span approximately one year. All academic and non-academic activities have been meticulously scheduled within the approved time frame, as directed by the university’s management.

The Academic Board at its meeting held on Monday 8th April, 2024 has approved the Revised Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 Academic Session as indicated below:
- Tuesday, 2nd Jan, 2024 – Resumption/Opening of Hostels for 1st Semester 2023/2024 Academic Session -FT/PT
- Wednesday, 3rd Jan, 2024 – Commencement of Registration
- Friday, 12th Jan, 2024 – Commencement of Lectures
- Monday, 19th Feb, 2024 – Academic Board Meeting
- Monday, 26th Feb, 2024 – Commencement of Resumption/Registration and Lectures for SIWES Students
- Friday, 1 March, 2024 – End of Registration
- Thursday, 28th March, 2024 – Friday 12th April, 2024 – Mid Semester Break
- Wednesday, 17th April-Friday 19th April, 2024 – Students Elections
- Monday, 22nd – Tuesday 23rd April 2024 – Orientation
- Wednesday, 24th April, 2024 – Matriculation
- Friday, 26th April, 2024 – End of Lectures 1st Semester 2023/2024
- Monday, 29th April – Friday, 17th May, 2024 – Examinations
