We would like to inform all new and returning students at Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) that the university administration has made changes to the academic schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The modified OOU academic schedule is intended to last around one year. All academic and non-academic activities were methodically planned within the permitted time limit, as directed by the university’s administration.

The Senate of Olabisi Onabanjo University convened an emergency meeting, during which they ratified the adjusted academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic sessions as outlined below:
Commencement of Physical Lectures
Dates: Wednesday, 19th June – Friday, 12th July 2024
All students should attend physical lectures during this period.
Revision Week
Dates: Monday, 15th July – Friday, 19th July 2024
This week is for you to review and prepare for your upcoming exams.
Rain Semester Examinations
Dates: Monday, 22nd July – Friday, 2nd August 2024
Ensure you are well-prepared and familiar with your examination schedule.
Marking and Processing of Results
Dates: Monday, 5th August – Friday, 9th August 2024
During this time, your exams will be marked, and results processed.
End of Session
Date: Friday, 9th August 2024
This date marks the end of the academic session.
