Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun is one of the most popular people in the Nigerian music industry, although just like many other artistes and celebrities, people only know him by his stage name – Wizkid. Wizkid is the Chairman and CEO of the “StarBoy” music record label; a label which is in partnership with “Disturbing” London. Wizkid started the record label in 2013 and he has gone on to sign quite a number of artistes including L.A.X.

Wizkid is one of the richest artistes in Nigeria and as one of the richest musicians around, it might interest us to check out some of Wizkid’s acquired landed properties and his acquired wheelers; as these are some of what his fans might to use rate him higher than other competing celebrities. Wizkid owns a N13 Million naira house on the mainland, precisely Surulere, where he grew up. The house was said to be have been bought from and soon put on sale, but word didn’t emanate if the sell-off was true, or if anyone went ahead to make the purchase.

He also acquired a mansion in Los Angeles in the United States of America. Although the cost of the house is yet to be known but we can authoritatively tell you that it is in millions of dollars.

Wizkid is known to be a sucker for cars, more than for houses. Wizkid, whose Globacom endorsement deal, according to reports is worth around N100 Million, has more cars than houses. Wizkid owns a N68 Million naira home in Lekki, which unlike many other celebrities, he didn’t purchase but built from scratch. He didn’t say much at the house until it was completed and after his Instagram announcement, it caught many people by surprise. The house is tastefully furnished and the interior finishing is said to be worth around or over half of the total building worth.

Don’t talk about cars where Wizkid is. The StarBoy owns a fleet of cars and he has been rumoured to be looking to buy a Lamborghini Prime X2 which is worth around N28 Million. Wizkid’s garage is host to cars like the Porsche Panarema, a car he bought in 2013 but got involved in a car crash only to go ahead to go ahead to purchase just the same type the next month. The car… or cars are worth N15 Million each and he wouldn’t stop bragging about purchasing a two Porsches, one after the other. He owns a Hyundai Sonata worth around N6 Million, a BMW X6 worth N11 Million, a Mercedes 2012 Compressor worth around N9 Million, but the most expensive ride in his collection is his Bentley said to be worth around N45 Million.

Wizkid is the only male ambassador in Nigeria for giant soft drink brand Pepsi. According to reports, he made Just N70 Million from the deal, and if you ask him if cars are enough to move around, you’re sure to get “No” for an answer, as the 26 year old recently got himself a Can-am tri-wheel super charged bike which is worth around N7 Million; and with a net worth of $12 Million, there’s little wonder if all his acquisitions were going to affect his financial well being.
