The ATBU administration has decided that the first day of classes for returning students will take place exactly two weeks after the first day of classes for new students. This standard norm is adhered to and observed by the vast majority of educational institutions. Because of this, first-year students would have the appropriate amount of time to easily finish bond registration, despite the fact that they are still relatively inexperienced with the system. This would be the case even though first-year students are still generally unfamiliar with the system.
During the 2025/2026 academic session, the academic activities that are going to take place are going to take place throughout the course of around four months’ time. It is anticipated that all events, whether academic or otherwise, would take place within the period of time spanning the following four months as per the plans.
ATBU RESUMPTION DATE FOR FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS
This notice is to let all university students know that the Second Semester2025/2026 academic session will resume on Friday, May 3, 2024. The first day of registration for the semester is Friday, May 3, 2024.
Before being allowed to register for courses, students who paid half of their school fees at the start of the 2025/2026 session must pay the remaining amount.
In view of the above, students are advised to always visit the University website www.atbu.edu.ng, notice boards, or liaise with the Dean, Student Affairs Division for any information regarding the University.
Students should therefore be wary of fake information and websites so as not to fall into the hands of fraudsters.
WARNING: THIS IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE
Both new and returning students are required to immediately begin paying their school fees and completing any essential registrations as soon as courses resumed after the break.
If there are any alterations to the date on which ATBU classes will resume for the 2025/2026 academic session, the management will be sure to inform us of them, and as soon as I find out about them, I will make any necessary adjustments to the schedule.
