The FUBK administration has decided that the first day of classes for returning students will take place exactly two weeks after the first day of classes for new students. This standard norm is adhered to and observed by the vast majority of educational institutions. Because of this, first-year students would have the appropriate amount of time to easily finish bond registration, despite the fact that they are still relatively inexperienced with the system. This would be the case even though first-year students are still generally unfamiliar with the system.
During the 2025/2026 academic session, the academic activities that are going to take place are going to take place throughout the course of around four months’ time. It is anticipated that all events, whether academic or otherwise, would take place within the period of time spanning the following four months as per the plans.
FUBK RESUMPTION DATE FOR FRESH AND RETURNING STUDENTS
Following the completion of Mid-semester Break and Eid-el-Fitr Sallah Public Holidays, Academic Activities at the Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) resumes on Monday April 15, 2024.
Based on the 2025/2026 Academic Calender for undergraduate studies, First Semester Lectures continues until 25th May 2024. The First Semester Examination for the 2025/2026 Session starts on 27th May, 2024.
WARNING: THIS IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE
Both new and returning students are required to immediately begin paying their school fees and completing any essential registrations as soon as courses resumed after the break.
If there are any alterations to the date on which FUBK classes will resume for the 2025/2026 academic session, the management will be sure to inform us of them, and as soon as I find out about them, I will make any necessary adjustments to the schedule.
