The FUTA portal was created by the university’s administration to store and process information for a variety of purposes, including admission applications, payment of acceptance/school fees, course registration, and confirmation of FUTA post-UTME, undergraduate, and postgraduate results.
For new and returning students, the FUTA Login Undergraduate Portal is utilized for a variety of purposes, including:
- School fees and acceptance fees payment and confirmation.
- Creating invoices
- Course registration and course changes for new and returning students.
- Examining student profiles
- Checking of undergraduate and postgraduate Examination results
- Application of remedial studies
- Application for a transcript
- Student account Login
Fresh UTME applicants who selected FUTA as their preferred choice of institution during their UTME registration, newly admitted students, returning students, and students enrolled in remedial programs can all access the Federal University of Technology, Owerri student portal.

LOGIN PROCEDURE FOR FRESHERS ON THE FUTA PORTAL
Step 1: Go to https://www.futa.edu.ng/firarsnew/welcome/appindex to create an account.
Step 2: Input your UTME reg number in the column.
Step 3: Input your password in the space provided.
Step 4 – Click Login from the drop-down menu.
You should be able to complete any online application, payment, or registration as an undergraduate or postgraduate applicant or student through the FUTA portal after you have logged in.
LOGIN PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING STUDENTS ON THE FUTA PORTAL
Step 1: Go to https://www.futa.edu.ng/firarsnew/welcome/appindex
Step 2: Input your Username;
Step 3: Type in your Password
Step 4 – Click Login to access your profile.
You should be able to complete any online application, payment, or registration as an undergraduate or postgraduate applicant or student through the FUTA portal after you have logged in.
