LASU Medical Screening Schedule for Fresh Students 2025 Announced

The management of Lagos State University (LASU) has officially announced the commencement of the university’s medical screening exercise. The LASU medical screening aims to evaluate the well-being of individuals and ensure that they meet the required health standards, particularly in fields like medicine, nursing, and allied health professions.

During the medical screening exercise, participants will undergo various assessments, including:

  1. Medical history questionnaire: Participants will be asked to provide details about their medical history, past illnesses, surgeries, medications, and any existing health conditions.
  2. Physical examination: Qualified healthcare professionals will conduct a comprehensive physical examination, carefully measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and body temperature. They will also assess different bodily systems to determine overall health.
  3. Laboratory tests: Participants may be requested to provide blood or urine samples for laboratory testing. These tests can help identify any underlying medical conditions or evaluate specific health parameters, such as blood cell counts, cholesterol levels, or infectious diseases.
