SUMAS Registration Procedure for Fresh Students 2025/2026 Academic Session


Welcome to the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences, Enugu! The stages below detail the registration process for newly admitted undergraduate students, as mandated by the administration. Students must follow this step-by-step advice to ensure a successful registration experience.


 

To ensure a smooth transition into university life, SUMAS has opened its registration portal exclusively for its fresh students. This initial step is crucial, as it formally integrates you into the SUMAS academic community. Here’s what you need to know about the registration process:

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION

Complete your Student Registration in three (3) SIMPLE STEPS

STEP 1 >> Upload Acceptance payment and begin registration

You will be required to Upload the following documents:

  • Prove of payment
  • A Clear Passport
  • Medical Report
  • JAMB Admission Letter
  • *GCE/WASC / NCE / DIP/ACE/TC.II Results
  • Birth Certificate
  • State of Origin

STEP 2 >> Go for Clearance and Begin Registration

If you have successfully registered. Check your email for the following registration forms:

  • FORM R/REG/01- Acceptance of Offer of Admission and Pledge
  • FORM R/REG/02 – Letter of Undertaking
  • FORM R/REG.03 – Provisional Clearance
  • FORM R/REG.04- Checking of Credentials-Degree/Diploma/Certificate
  • FORM R/REG.05- Students’ Payment Notification slips and proof of payments
  • FORM R/REG.07- Students Referee Form
  • FORM R/REG.06- Students’ Motivation Letter

Also, come to the registration with the original copies of the following documents:

  • JAMB Admission Letter
  • *GCE/WASC / NCE / DIP/ACE/TC.II Results not more than two (2) sittings
  • Prove of Payment
  • Medical Report
  • State of Origin
  • First School Leaving
  • School Testimonials
  • Birth Certificate
  • Court Affidavits

NOTE

You are expected to print these forms and start registration immediately

You will be required to change your payment notification slip into a Receipt from the Bursary Departments before the start of registration.

An email has been sent to your referee containing the referee form link, inform your referee to fill out the form. A copy of the registration will be sent to you after registration is completed.

STEP 3 >> Upload School Fees and other Bank Payment Receipt

You will be required to upload your school receipt on the student registration portal after your clearance and verification process has been done.

Note: In case of network failure after a successful payment on the Remita portal, you can go back to payment and input your RRR Number to verify it.
