The administration of The University of Abuja has officially announced the forthcoming Matriculation Ceremony for new students in the 2025/2026 academic session. This ceremony is set to be held on the university campus as detailed below:

University of Abuja, UniAbuja cordially invites the general public to her MATRICULATION CEREMONY which is scheduled to hold as follows:
- Date: Tuesday 25th June 2024
- Time: 9.00a.m. PROMPT
- Venue: Convocation Ground, Main Campus, Abuja
How To Collect Matriculation Gown
Consequently, you are to obtain your Matriculation gowns from your Faculty upon the presentation of stamped payment of school fees receipt.
Students are to note that they would be required to sign matriculation register immediately after the ceremony.
While students are free to invite their parents, families and friends to grace the occasion, there would be designated stands for such invitees so that they do not interfere with the conduct of the ceremony.
To ensure a seamless event, Faculty Officers are kindly requested to pay attention to the following guidelines:
- Matriculation gowns can be obtained from the Central Stores located within the premises of the
- Students are advised to specify their respective Faculties/Departments on their payment documents. This will expedite the issuance of receipts at the Faculty level.
- Faculty Officers are responsible for distributing matriculation gowns to their students upon presentation of the payment receipt for school fees.
- In accordance with proper requisition procedures, the Chief Stores Officer is instructed to provide gowns to Faculty Officers.
- Faculty Officers are tasked with ensuring that their matriculating students are seated in the hall by 9:00 Furthermore, they are expected to maintain order and decorum among their students during the matriculation ceremony.
Faculty Officers are urged to communicate these instructions to their respective students and ensure compliance.
