The administration of Yobe State University has officially announced the forthcoming Matriculation Ceremony for new students in the 2025/2026 academic session. This ceremony is set to be held on the university campus as detailed below:
YSU Matriculation Ceremony Details
I am directed to notify you that the 2023/2024 (Academic session) Matriculation exercise has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 24 April, 2024 at 10:00am in the Ibrahim Gaidam Hall of the University.
By a copy of this letter, the Dean, Student Affairs, is directed to make all the necessary preparations and to issue matriculation gowns to all concerned as usual; while the Director, Information, is to give wide coverage to the ceremony.
Furthermore, the provost, College of Medical sciences and Deans of Faculties and all Heads of Department are required to prepare their respective matriculating students to partake in the exercise in order to legitimise their membership of the university community as required by law.
