Linda Ikeji’s Net Worth, Cars, House And Advert Rates On Her Blog

Linda Ikeji, Queen (you might as well say King) of blogging. Imagine that caption! Rich, successful and sitting pretty at the top, she holds one of the most coveted title in Nigeria right now. Her shoot to stardom has got us doing a lot of math and brain work on how a common blogger was able to afford a mansion in Banana Island for more than half a billion naira.

Well, that alone tells us that she isn’t a “common” blogger anymore is she?! A graduate of UNILAG turned model turned blogger has carved a niche for herself and from the look of things she’s here to stay. I have a lot of respect for her, I must add. Upon her purchase of her Banana Island mansion which trended on twitter for almost a week, a lot of people begun to dig into her past and all what not but the one that took the spotlight most was on her finances.

How in heaven’s name did she make all that money? For her to have spent over half a billion naira on a property did that mean she had a triple of that in the bank? These and many more plagued the minds of most Nigerians. Prior to this she had been in the news severally for having misunderstandings with several entertainers like comedienne Princess, music artiste Olamide of YBNL, Richard Mofe-Damijo just to mention a few. It is safe to say Linda doesn’t have many friends in the entertainment industry because of the compromise it will cause to her blog.

So back to her finances, we over here have done a little homework on how she arrived at her current worth. You wanna know Linda Ikeji’s net worth, well it is over drumrolls a whooping N3.3billion!

Can you believe that?! Okay, so let us tell you how we arrived at this figure.

Remember during the election when she had a homepage takeover by PDP, well sources say that’s where she made a chunk of her money from. She was paid in millions of naira for that short time frame.

Also, Linda Ikeji’s blog rakes in over a million views per page. Get this right, we’re not saying her entire blog gets only a million views a day, we’re saying that for each news content she puts up it generates over 1 million views everyday. How do these views translate into the big bucks you may ask. That’s where Google Adsense comes to play. Google pays for the amount of traffic your site generates.

Linda Ikeji’s Net Worth

To calculate the Adsense , you need to understand the daily traffic statistics. The more traffic a site generates, the more money in it for the blogger.
Then advert rates are not excluded too. She also charges at least N50,000 for featured/ sponsored posts and this charge is mostly out of familiarity or due to an acquaintance. It could cost more for someone entirely new. You do the math and imagine how many sponsored posts she gets in a day then multiply that by 7 days in a week.

Linda Ikeji’s Direct Adverts rates are as follows :

Leadboard (Header) – N950,000 x 2 = N1,900,000 monthly

Sidebar ads (Top) – N500,000 x 2 = N1,000,000 monthly

Sidebar ads (All site wide) – N400,000 x 30 = N12,000,000 monthly.

Page branding (Site takeover) = N1,600,000 monthly

Total revenue from direct adverts = N19.5 million monthly.

As seen above, this is a rough estimate of what she earns from adverts monthly. This much information is what we can vouch for and deem accurate. There might be other sources of income which she has that we do not know about. As for her philanthropic works, she has a project called I’ll Rather Be Self Made, No thanks which helps young women with brilliant ideas to become their own boss. Her Monday giveaways on her blog aren’t forgotten either.

How impressive that she would do all these in the little time that she’s amounted to something. So next time when she splurges on those Hermes bags and Giuseppe Zannoti shoes or perhaps she buys the 2016 Range Rover Sport, please give her a break? The girl’s worked hard! Great job Linda!
