The University of Calabar has recently announced a minor adjustment in the school charges applicable to all undergraduate students at the institution.
In an official statement released by Mr. Gabriel Egbe, the Registrar of the University of Calabar, it was conveyed that the decision to implement this slight upward revision was made during an emergency meeting of the University of Calabar Senate convened on December 1, 20-23.
This adjustment in charges will be applicable for the academic sessions of 2024/2025 and 2023/2024, as specified in the released statement. The decision to approve this revision by the university’s apex academic body was driven by the current economic conditions and the necessity to uphold the esteemed academic standards of the institution.
Students are encouraged by the Registrar to take note of the revised charges and commence their registration using the updated template available on the University’s payment portal.
For 100L and 200L students, the fee portal link is https://portal.unical.edu.ng, while 400L students and above can utilize myunical.edu.ng. As for 300L students, they are directed to pay using the same payment portal as the previous session.
The Registrar assured students that the university’s management has taken all necessary measures to ensure a seamless payment and course registration process.
Concluding the statement, the Registrar, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, extended best wishes to both new and returning students, hoping for a peaceful, conducive, and trouble-free academic session ahead.
